I cannot resist the lovely squishiness of cables on a knitted hat. Here are two of my favorite cables combined in a sophisticated-looking design that is sure to give a high-fashion compliment to any winter attire.
The crown of the hat closes into a beautiful floral round resulting in cabled petals. You will enjoy making this pattern down to the very last stitch.

Hat is knit from brim to crown in the round.
Consider placing a stitch marker every 18 stitches to separate pattern repeats in the body of the hat.
